“A masterful and entertaining movie. We loved it. After your film, I feel like I finally met Brown Carlson.” — Bill B.

Lake Clark, Alaska

Brown Carlson built his cabin on the north shore of Lake Clark in remote, southwest Alaska in the early 1900s.

Anne was born at Lake Clark and Steve and Anne lived there year-round from 1997 to 2015. They now divide their time between the Lake and the coastal town of Homer.

Rebuilding Brown’s cabin was a process that took 9 summers (and there are still ongoing projects!)
